Bear Cupboard Run - 5K and 10K Run, 5K Walk 7/16/11

 The Lakeland Pantry will sponsor its second annual Bear Cupboard Run on Saturday, July 16, 2011.  The race will begin and end at Torpy Park in downtown Minocqua taking place on the scenic Bearskin trail.  There will be a 1K Cubby Run for kids 10 and under, starting at 8:15 AM.  All Cubby Run participants will receive a Cubby Pack and ribbon.  The first 400 runner/walkers will be guaranteed commemorative t-shirts and survival bags.  The 5K and 10K runs will be professionally chip timed.  There will also be an un-timed fun 5K walk.

On-line pre-register until noon, Thursday, July 14, or register in person at Torpy Park Pavillion Friday evening from 5:30 - 7:30 and morning of the race starting at 7:00 - 8:30 AM.   Enjoy music, food and activities at Torpy Park before and after the racing events.  All proceeds go to the Lakeland Pantry and Kids Against Hunger.
