Enjoy a fun-filled day with family and friends with the Carry the Torch 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. The course will start at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino, run through downtown Lac du Flambeau and alongside two lakes on the Lac du Flambeau chain before turning around and finishing back at Lake of the Torches.

Student (18 & Under) $10 Now – August 12 $15 August 13 – August 26
Adult (19 & Older) $20 Now – August 12 $25 August 13 – August 26
There will be an online registration fee added during sign up. $2 for student and $3 for adult.
Trophies will be awarded to top overall male and female runner.
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group category.
Age Groups: 14 & Under, 15 – 19, 20 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 & Older
Proceeds from the Carry the Torch Charity Fundraiser will assist four Northwoods charities that brighten the lives of thousands of families in northern Wisconsin.
Lakeland Pantry, a 501(c) 3, serves more than 1,800 families throughout the Lakeland area. These families receive a two-week supply of food along with clothing, infant supplies and other essentials. The pantry distributes 16,000 pounds of food items each week to Lakeland area residents.
Northwoods United Way
The Northwoods United Way works to improve lives in Forest, Oneida and Vilas Counties by mobilizing community resources and strategically investing in human service programs.
The Northwoods United Way funds more than 20 agencies that provide such services as family resource assistance, temporary housing and youth activities to Northwoods residents.
Lac du Flambeau Abinoojiiyag (Youth) Center
The Lac du Flambeau Abinoojiiyag (Youth) Center offers a wide variety of after school and cultural programs for more than 500 youth in the Lac du Flambeau area. The Youth Center hosts many club activities, including cultural learning programs and Ojibwe language instructional programs.
Wisconsin North Central Chapter of the American Red Cross
The American Red Cross North Central Chapter serves communities across Iron, Vilas, Florence, Price, Oneida, Forest, Marinette, Taylor, Lincoln, Langlade, Menominee, Oconto, Clark, Marathon, Shawano, Wood and Portage counties.
The Wisconsin North Central Chapter of American Red Cross provides critical assistance to disaster and fire victims in the Northwoods and central Wisconsin area.
