Minocqua No Frills Marathon, 9/2/2012

This race was developed with the novice runners in mind. It will be a fairly flat course. There will be no limits on registration and the entry fee is small compared to most races. Thus, the “No Frills” name. You’ll get a Medal for finishing, but not much else. After all, “IT’S ALL ABOUT THE RACE”! That’s not to say experienced runners won’t enjoy this race also.  We believe it will be a fast course and are in the process of having it certified so that it will be a Boston Qualifier. This event will offer a last chance race before Boston registration in the middle of September.  The start is at Nokomis Community Park on HWY L at 7AM on Sunday September 2,2012 and the finish at The Bearskin Trailhead behind the Minocqua Post Office
