Minocqua Triathlon 8/11/12

The 3rd Annual, See-Me-Tri, Minocqua Triathlon will be held on August 11, 2012.  World-class triathletes say this is one of the most scenic venues they have ever raced on.  The Minocqua Tri will again be held at the beautiful and scenic CLEAR LAKE PARK AND PICNIC AREA.  Clear Lake Park and Picnic Area is located 1.5 miles east of Hwy 47 on County Road J, in Woodruff, WI. 

Participants can again choose from two race distances.  The "Sprint" course will be comprised of a 500 meter swim, a 20K (12.4 M) bike and a 5K run.  Or you can challenge yourself a bit more on the Olympic course, comprised of an 1500 meter swim, a 40K (24.5 M) mile bike and 10K run.

The swim is held in beautiful, crystal clear, Clear Lake.  The bike course is along the bike lane on Cty Roads J & E and will wind along the Rainbow Flowage and through wooded back roads. Both run courses will be on the historic & scenic Raven Trail, with the 10K course finishing along wooded, Woodruff and Hatchery roads.  Each portion of the race course truly displays the beauty of the Northwoods.

Friday night race registration and packet pick up will be held at Chequamegon Adventure Company, located at 8576 Hwy 51, Minocqua.  Enjoy the refreshments, music and party atmosphere as well as pick up tri racing tips from our guest professional triathlete.  Bike technicians will be available for any last minuture tune-ups, or you can pick up any last minute Tri supplies at Chequamegon Adventure Company.  We STRONGLY encourage participants to pick up their race packet on Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
