Treehaven Tromp, Snowshoe Race, 2/11/2012

 The Treehaven Tromp is a new regional snowshoe race and fun run.  The race will be held on February 11, 2012 at 10:30 AM.  The race is held at UWSP Treehaven, a 1,400 acre Northwoods retreat and education facility, located in Tomahawk, WI.  The Treehaven Tromp is part of the Braveheart Snowshoe Racing Series (www.cutemoose.net) and a 2011-2012 United States Snowshoe Association (USSSA) Regional Qualifying Event (www.snowshoeracing.com) leading to the USSSA National Championships held in Frisco, CO on February 24-26.  To race as a USSSA Qualifier, complete the USSSA membership form ahead of the event (online: www.snowshoeraceing.com/membership) or complete the membership form at the event.

The race fee includes race registration, a high performance wicking T-shirt, awards and a chili luncheon.  Lodging the night before the race is also available for an additional fee.  Register with UWSP-Treehaven for lodging at 715-453-4106 or www.uwsp.edu/cnr/treehaven.

Hey Kids!  There will be a Kids Fun Snowshoe Race, immediately following the 5K & 10K races.  No registration is necessary.  Bring along your snowshoes, and join in for this fun, short, Kids snowshoe race.
